An 18-year-old woman has died following a domestic-related shooting in Baton Rouge, authorities confirmed. Kassidy Jackson was tragically shot and killed on January 8, 2026, in the 1700 block of Columbus Dunn Drive near Gus Young Avenue.

In a significant update to the case, 24-year-old Damari Lipscomb, the son of Adia Mingo, has been arrested and charged in connection with her death. Police confirmed that Lipscomb was taken into custody in Pennsylvania before being extradited to face charges in Prince George’s County.
