45-year-old Adia Mingo was tragically shot and killed inside her Temple Hills, Maryland home on the morning of December 11, 2025, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

The fatal shooting occurred at approximately 8:50 a.m. in the 6900 block of Westchester Court in Temple Hills, a residential neighborhood located in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Police officers responded to reports of a shooting and arrived to find Adia Mingo suffering from traumatic injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities have stated that the Temple Hills shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence. Investigators believe Adia Mingo may have been targeted, though the motive remains unclear.
