According to authorities, 23-year-old Shiateek Wilson was arrested in connection with Miller’s murder. Investigators say Wilson allegedly admitted to going to his ex-girlfriend’s home around 1:00 a.m., where he hid in her daughter’s closet with flowers, claiming he wanted to surprise her.
While waiting, Wilson reportedly drank alcohol and watched videos. When his ex-girlfriend returned home with Miller, the two decided to take a shower together. Moments later, gunshots rang out. The woman told police she ran upstairs and found Miller suffering from gunshot wounds. She claims Wilson stood nearby holding a handgun and prevented her from calling for help by taking her phone.
Wilson is claiming self-defense. He has been charged with murder and is currently being held on a $300,000 bond, according to police.
Rest in peace, Noel Miller.
