Milwaukee Mother A’Naya Raymond Found Shot to Death; Young Son Found Wandering Alone

In a heartbreaking case out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, police are investigating the tragic death of 31-year-old A’Naya Raymond, whose body was discovered just hours after her young son was found wandering alone in the early morning hours.

According to reports, on November 5, 2025, police responded after a little boy was found wandering barefoot and without socks near 9th Street and Keefe Avenue around dawn. The child, believed to be five or six years old and nonverbal, was safely taken into care while authorities worked to identify his family.

Just four hours later, around 9:00 a.m., the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that A’Naya Raymond was found shot to death in an alley near 42nd Street and Hampton Avenue.

Investigators have not confirmed where the homicide occurred, and as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with A’Naya’s death. The case remains under active investigation as family and friends mourn her loss and seek justice.
