Suspect Arrested in the Disappearance of 23-Year-Old Kada Scott

Earlier today, a major development was announced in the case. Police discovered a 1999 Toyota Camry believed to be connected to Kada’s disappearance in the East Falls area of Philadelphia. The vehicle belongs to 21-year-old Keon King, who has now been arrested and charged with kidnapping in connection to Kada’s disappearance.
Investigators confirmed that Keon and Kada had been communicating before she went missing. Authorities also searched the abandoned Ada Lewis Middle School campus in East Mount Airy, where they reportedly found physical evidence related to Kada. However, officials have not yet disclosed what that evidence may be.
According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Toczylowski, Keon King has a concerning criminal history. Earlier this year, he was arrested for kidnapping another woman, but those charges were later dropped when the victim failed to appear in court twice. With this new arrest, prosecutors have refiled charges. The earlier incident involved King allegedly abducting a woman outside her home, assaulting her, and then releasing her.
While Kada Scott remains missing, her family and community continue to hold out hope for her safe return. A GoFundMe campaign has been created to support ongoing search efforts and assist her loved ones. The fundraiser has already raised over $4,000 as of this writing.
