The Unsolved Disappearance of Alexis Scott.
On September 23, 2017, 20-year-old Alexis Scott vanished from Peoria, Illinois. She was last seen at a house party in the 100 block of Richmond Avenue, reportedly leaving around 5:30 a.m. However, according to police officials, there is no evidence that she ever left the party.
During the investigation, authorities interviewed multiple attendees, executed search warrants, and entered Alexis’s name into a national database for missing persons.

According to The Charley Project, Alexis had traveled to Las Vegas just weeks before her disappearance, hoping to become an exotic dancer. Tragically, she became a victim of sex trafficking and was taken to Sacramento, California. She managed to escape and was later found naked and disoriented in the street. After contacting her mother, Alexis returned to Peoria but reportedly lived in fear of retaliation from her traffickers.
Disturbingly, the homeowner of the party Alexis attended was acquainted with the individual who took her to Las Vegas. Her family fears she may have been trafficked again. She left behind a young son.
The Alexis Camry Scott Campaign Facebook group serves as a vital resource where individuals come together to keep Alexis’s name alive. The group has organized search efforts, shared information, and passed along tips to law enforcement in hopes of finding answers.
