Where Is 11-Year-Old Jacob Pritchett? The Search for a Missing Brooklyn Boy

The New York Police Department is still searching for 11-year-old Jacob Pritchett, a missing Brooklyn boy described as autistic and nonverbal.

According to reports, police went to check on Jacob’s well-being on September 25, 2025, at his mother’s apartment in Brooklyn. The visit came after neighbors contacted the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), saying they hadn’t seen Jacob in a long time. When officers arrived, Jacob’s mother reportedly told them she didn’t have a child.


Investigators later carried out a search warrant at the apartment but didn’t find Jacob or any sign of him. The NYPD K-9 unit reportedly picked up traces of blood near the refrigerator, and detectives found Jacob’s birth certificate listing the woman as his mother. It’s also been reported that Jacob was never enrolled in school, and his current whereabouts remain unknown.Jacob’s mother is currently hospitalized for evaluation, and as of now, no charges have been filed.


Jacob is described as a Black male, about 11 years old, with a medium complexion, brown eyes, and black hair. His last known address was on Howard Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn.
